Home base — most pickups start here. We pick up from any hotel, vacation rental, or private residence in Napa and the neighboring towns of Yountville, Oakville, Sonoma, American Canyon. We regularly run combined tours across Napa and Sonoma, so if you want to taste in Napa in the morning and head to another AVA in the afternoon, we'll plan it.

Tasting in Napa
Downtown Napa is the easiest launch point for a tour in either direction. Most guests stay here, so we start most days from a downtown hotel or a rental on the river. Urban tasting rooms mean you can walk to your first pour before we even get in the car.
Carneros and Coombsville AVAs. Carneros sits to the south and stays cool from bay wind, which makes it Pinot, Chardonnay and sparkling country. Coombsville is east of town, quieter, high-end, and still relatively undiscovered compared to the valley floor.
The roads that matter. Highway 29 runs north through the valley floor. The Silverado Trail is the parallel eastern route and is faster for most of the day. Highway 121 connects south to Sonoma through Carneros.
Landmarks. Oxbow Public Market, First Street Napa, the Napa Riverfront, the Napa Valley Wine Train depot.
Napa is the gateway to the valley and our home base. From downtown Napa you're 15 minutes to Yountville and 30 to St. Helena along Highway 29 or the Silverado Trail. Tasting here ranges from grand estates on the valley floor to urban tasting rooms walking distance from your hotel.

If you're staying downtown, start with breakfast at Oxbow Public Market before we pick you up. We'll plan the first tasting for 10 or 10:30 so you have time to eat, and we'll have cold water waiting in the car.
